Where is the club located?

A: The Black Sheep is located between Union Blvd. and Circle Ave. on Platte Ave. The physical address is  2106 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

Where can I buy tickets?

A: Tickets are available for all Black Sheep shows at  www.ticketweb.com or from our website at  www.blacksheeprocks.com. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Black Sheep box office located in 2106 E Platte Ave. The box office is open any night there is a show. There is a $2.00 service fee per ticket and the box office is CASH ONLY. We offer no service fees on all tickets every Friday at our box office.

What is NO FEE FRIDAY?

Every Friday at The Black Sheep box office; you are able to purchase tickets to any upcoming show with no service fees. Box Office opens at Noon until 9:00pm. The box office is CASH ONLY.

Do you have entry procedures for the venue?

For the safety of our guests, all patrons are subject to search upon entry to the Black Sheep. Patrons are subject to bag searches and wanding procedures by our security staff. Safety of attendees are of the utmost importance. No weapons of any kind are allowed. For example: guns, knives, mace, etc.

No outside food and beverages are allowed. We do have a vending machine with light snacks.

No large bags or backpacks.

Is there re-entry?

A: N0 re-entry is allowed for patrons.

Do I need ID to enter the venue?

A: An ID is only required if you plan on drinking alcohol. Because we allow underage patrons we take checking IDs very seriously. In compliance with CO laws, anyone 21 and older who plans on drinking alcohol will have to show a valid, (not expired), government issued photo ID, no matter how old you think you may look. Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will be treated as under 21 and will not be allowed to buy, hold, or drink alcohol. This policy is strictly enforced and any violation will result in immediate ejection from the venue.

Can I bring my camera? 

A: Regular digital point & shoot cameras are fine but absolutely no SLR, detachable lens, or professional type cameras will be allowed inside the venue. Absolutely no video recording devices of any kind will be tolerated. No flash photography is allowed.

Is there seating?

A: All shows are general admission standing room only unless otherwise noted.

Can I bring my own chair?

A: Unfortunately, as a matter of safety for our other guests, you will not be able to bring your own chair.

How do I book my band?

A: Please contact booking@blacksheeprocks.com for all booking inquiries. Please provide as much information as possible about what you are looking for. Please do not send physical materials to the venue.

Do you have a dress code?

A: No shoes, no shirt, no dice. We also suggest you not wear open toe shoes (ie Sandals, Flip flops, etc.)

Do you have a coat check?

A: We do not offer a coat check.

Can I smoke in the club?

A: NO. Colorado has an indoor smoking and vaping ban. However, we do have a smoking area located out front for every show so you’re welcome to step out for a smoke break.

Is the time listed door time or show time?

A: The time listed on each show is the DOOR TIME, the show will start shortly thereafter.

Is there food?

A: We have a vending machine with light snacks. Ask the bartender for options OR check out Vultures down the street on the corner of Platte and Iowa for food options before and after the show.

Where is the best place to park?

A: Anywhere on Platte Ave is free parking, and on side streets. Please pay close attention to no parking signs, and look around your parking spot before leaving your car. Don’t park in businesses spaces! Please do not park at Vultures on the corner of Platte and Iowa. This is the dirt strip on the east side of Iowa street. It is private parking and they WILL tow your car.

How do I get a job with the Black Sheep?

A: Send resume to blacksheep@blacksheeprocks.com with detailed information about the positions(s) you are interested in.

Is the venue handicapped accessible? 

A: Yes, the Black Sheep is handicapped accessible. If you need early entry or any kind of help, please consult security personnel at the front door upon arrival to the venue for assistance.

If a show says sold out, is it really sold out?

A: Yes, it is really sold out and no more tickets will be released.

Does the Black Sheep have an email list? How can I be included? 

A: Yes. We send out weekly email updates that include information on just- announced shows, yet-to-be-advertised shows, exclusive pre-sales, and warnings when certain shows are about to sell out. If you wish to be included please use the textbox located at the top of our website on our home page.

When do you announce new shows?

A: Depending on bands’ booking and promotions schedules, new shows are announced all the time. New shows will appear on Black Sheep’s website as soon as they are announced.

What is your refund policy?

A: All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled.

What is a Black Sheep Punch Card?

A: It’s a limited release punch card valid for the calendar year it was released only. It gets you into any 5 shows in that year. You can use that card for that show. It includes entry into sold out show as well (as long as there are no capacity issues, feel free to call us to ask!)

How does it work? Just show up the night of the show to the box office window. Get your card punched for a ticket. That’s it!

Perk! You can skip the line if there is one and go straight to the front for security.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

A: If your event is cancelled please return to the point of purchase for refunds. If you purchased tickets online, your credit card will be automatically refunded within one week of the cancellation. If your event is postponed, you will be given the option to refund your tickets or if you choose to attend the rescheduled date, your tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date.
