The Backseat Lovers
The Backseat Lovers is a rock band from Salt Lake City, UT. The band formed when leadvocalist Joshua Harmon, having heard of local drummer Juice Welch, introduced himself andasked if he wanted to start a band. They immediately started working on arrangements for someof Josh's songs. Later Josh met lead guitarist and vocalist Jonas Swanson while waiting in linefor an open mic at the Velour in Provo city. Neither of them got on the list to play that night, sothey sat on a park bench outside the venue andplayed their songs to each other until they ranout of stuff to play. Josh invited Jonas to come down and play with he and Juice. It was thatnight that Out of Tune, a song Josh had been holding onto since he was 16, came to life whenthey arranged it asa group.
In spring of 2018 the band began recording together. Theyreleased their self produced EP Elevator Days on June 3, 2018 and played their first show a fewshort weeks after.
They released their first full length LP,When We Were Friendson January27th, 2019 which features the single "Kilby Girl" with over 35 million streams globally. The bandreleased their newest song "Heavy" in July of 2020. The group is currently writing new materialthat they say is a product of the co-writing chemistry thathas grown between Jonas & Joshuasince the band started
Branson Anderson

Singer-songwriter Branson Anderson hails from Logandale, Nevada, a tiny, sleepy, desert town dating back to the 1860s, best known as the home of the Clark County Fair and Rodeo. As a teen, Anderson started writing songs with dreams of rambling across the land as a traveling musician. In fact, he once ditched high school and took a two and a half day bus ride to Nashville with the sole plan of going to Third Man Records to meet Jack White. It didn’t quite pan out and fifteen hours later he was back on a bus headed home, but a love for the adventures of the road got into his blood on that trip.

Now based in Ogden, Utah, another historic frontier town rich in cowboy lore, Anderson lives in a camp trailer and fully embraces the life of a troubadour, working as a truck driver for a rock quarry when he isn’t gigging. With a creative

approach to writing that eschews traditional song structure, Anderson’s influences include Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Jack White, and Robert Johnson. Fueled by a humble reverence for Americana, as a performer Anderson channels the spirit of yesteryear imbued with a fresh, unique take on roots music.

Anderson has toured the U.S. and parts of Europe, opening for Mattiel, Corb Lund, Charlie Parr, Brothers Comatose, Smooth Hound Smith, Little Hurricane, The Kolars, Sammy Brue,  and fellow Utah residents Timmy The Teeth and Joshua James, the latter who produced Anderson’s 2017 debut album, Graydog, as well as his recently released album, Applecore, Baltimore.
