Swollen Members
After going through one of the darkest periods of their musical career, Swollen Members are back and sounding more revitalized than ever. The Vancouver based hip-hop trio has somehow managed to persevere through drug addiction, label collapses, and legal troubles to create their 2009 release "Armed To The Teeth". While writing the album was necessary to empty the skeletons that have been piling up in the group’s closet, the album was a departure from Swollen Members trademark sound.

“Armed to the Teeth is a dope record, but looking back now some of the lyrical content glorifies negativity a little too much for my liking," commented Madchild. "Along with Dilated Peoples and Hieroglyphics, we come from an era of hip-hop that was a raw and pure art form and just a lot more fun! So when we started the creative process for this record our goal was to record something that feels right and that's exactly what happened.”

With Mad Child now free from his addiction to pain killers and having exorcised all his demons, he has returned to Swollen Members with a vengeance to record their seventh studio album “Dagger Mouth”. From the powerful production of Rob The Viking to the dark poetic abstract expressionism of Madchild and Prevail, “Dagger Mouth” is a return to the classic Swollen Members sound by harnessing the group’s savage and chaotic energy into one focused and commanding effort.
"We really learned a lot from Madchild’s journey through addiction, and Swollen managed to keep it together during a tumultuous time that would have broken most groups up," added Prevail. "With this record we banded together for the strength of our brotherhood and re-discovered the core elements of what the Swollen Members sound is."

Over the course of their decade long career, Swollen Members has managed to develop some of the most electrifying hip-hop chemistry. From the release of their debut album “Balance” in 1999, Swollen Members captivated the underground hip-hop world with live shows that took the raw explosive energy of rock music and powered it with the group’s jaw dropping lyrical abilities. The group’s universal appeal caught the attention of both underground and mainstream audiences and while earning accolades, as well as Juno Awards (the Canadian version of a Grammy), and Video awards.

Swollen Members had developed such a powerful fanbase they were touring the world opening for everyone from Black Eyed Peas to Tech N9ne and collaborating with the likes of Nelly Furtado, Everlast, and Chali 2na (Jurassic 5).
“The past few years have taught me a lot about myself and my music,” closes Mad Child. “Swollen Members’ success has taken us around the world and while I’m thankful for all we’ve accomplished, but I’ve learned that everything is secondary to making good music.”

MadchildSince the release of his debut solo album "Dope Sick", Madchild has refused to rest. After many years of success with Swollen Members, Madchild branched out creatively to become a solo artist and was rewarded with the highest chart position of his career as "Dope Sick" debuted at #3 on the Canadian Billboard Top 200 and #7 on the US Heatseekers chart. Madchild wasted no time taking to the road on a sold-out Canadian tour alongside Tech N9ne, which he immediately followed-up with a 40-date headlining tour across the country performing to packed venues. Madchild has relentlessly toured for the past few years earning fans in every city on tours with La Coka Nostra, Tech N9NE, Redman, and others. Madchild capped off an amazing year with a Juno Award nomination for "Dope Sick" in the category of "Rap Recording of the Year", as well as nominations for a Sirius XFM and a Canadian Independent Music awards.
Swollen Members have been an underground anomaly for more than a decade with worldwide success and accolades. The group are currently riding a wave of success, winning 4 Junos Awards and adding a nomination for a 5th award in 2012 for their "Dagger Mouth" album. In addition to their Juno awards, Swollen Members have also nabbed seven Much Music video awards and four Western Canadian Music awards. Swollen Members have collectively racked up 35 million views on Youtube, and earned both platinum and gold sales certification for sales of their albums. Swollen Members have supplemented their accolades with tours all over the world with acts such as Ghostface of the Wu-Tang Clan, Nelly Furtado and Black Eyed Peas. The group's loyal following of fans (known as Battle Axe Warriors) are some of the most fanatical, with many fans sporting the group's battle axe logo tattooed on their body.

After spending a couple years battling personal demons, Madchild took his life back with the help of his family friends and the unwavering support of his fans. Madchild renounced his former lifestyle and found solace in the arms of his music. Bunkering down in his home studio secluded from the outside world, Madchild has enjoyed a creative rebirth by crafting some of the best verses of his entire career. In addition to his creative rebirth, Madchild is now giving back to his community as he has started speaking at local high schools in British Columbia and to youth groups about perils of gang violence and drug addiction in Canada, which has helped inspire youth to make positive lifestyle choices.

As his solo career continues to soar to new heights, Madchild is sharply focused on creating captivating hip-hop. He is poised to have an even more successful 2013 with a brand new solo album "Lawn Mower Man", and a stint on this year's Warped Tour.

Stay Tuned
Stay TunedFormerly the trio ManeLine, including partner InkLine, Mane Rok and Deejay Tense changed the landscape of hip-hop music in Colorado forever. The group ushered in a new era of respect from media and venues using their unique style of hip-hop art.

In late 2009 after having opened for Gnarls Barkley and Bassnectar at the first SOCO Music Festival in Denver, they met an untimely road block with InkLine taking a prison sentence. The unfortunate news came at a time of the trio’s rise through the ranks, having just received Spin Magazine’s coveted “next big thing,” mention.

Mane Rok and Tense found themselves creating all new music in 2010, revamping the stage show and rebuilding a rep that seemed to be locked away with InkLine. After a few years, numerous projects and more than a few tours, the duo felt their brand recognition was more than solid. There was one missing piece to the puzzle, however, and it was the media’s understanding of Tense’s crucial role as deejay.

A turntabalist behind the wheels of steel, Deejay Tense is the backbone of the live show. His dexterity accompanied by visuals and Mane Rok’s bone rattling flow, ManeLine evolved once more. This time into Stay Tuned, a fitting moniker for any artist who has fought for change, go through change, and are looking to change the game.

Stay Tuned.

HORzillia Presents X-Mas In Necropolis 6 Feat. 17Ent (former & present members)
HORzillia Presents X-Mas In Necropolis 6 Feat. 17Ent (former & present members)Originally started in 2000 by founding members Feezy The King (Operator-9)and DT aka Dennis Tova.In the beginning, 17 Entertainments was a label of mainly beat making and remained that way till about 2005 and thats when it really began to blossom or grow if you will, in other words 17 began to take shape with the very first featured artists on the lable, Seen Loc, J-Dubb, OD, Tre Mack, and of course Feezy and from there the recordings began, along with the first live show at tailgates put together by Seen Loc.Between 2005 and 2006, with problems and essentially the downfall of Str8 Jacket Mafia, the previous lable, a new group was introduced to 17 by the name of E.M.L (East Murderas Lane) which featured the artists Drive Bye aka Sin Geno, Kriptuk, and myself Wiked C and 17 had actually combined record lables with the newly formed Necropolis Recordings adding another artist to the lable by the name of Killin Rather. In 2007, a new artist named Bolimic was introduced to 17, the name explains him to the fullest, just a sick motherfucker, wicked and crude lyrics, a DGAF attitude and insanely sick delivery. It was actually at the GOTJ when Seen Loc approached Bolimic to be on 17. With more and more live shows poppin up 17 Ents was finally making a well deserved name for ourselves. 2008 was the year Spyda Tha Man and Twisted M made their first appearances on 17. With a pretty good line up of artists and fan base already started and growing fast 2008 was also the year we gave ourselves a name as well as our fans and from there dubbed the HOR. It started as just something we would all say amongst our homies who we kicked it with on a regular basisr it didnt even have a meaning it was just a word, but in the summer of the same year a homie of ours named Hank and myself gave the word an official meaning and acronym, taking from the original derogative meaning, me and Hank came up with HOR (Homie Onda Regular) dedicated to the homies on a regular basis and let me tell you the name stuck almost instantly and spread like an infectious disease. Next thing ya know different meanings of the acronym started poppin up all over Colorado Springs and soon after the state and now the country and even overseas. Homie Onda Regular became the universal acronym and official name for the artists at 17 as well as our loyal fans (HOR) and WE HOR if you actually were a whore just add the W and the E and its been like that ever since and will be here till the end.
