Through The Roots
THROUGH THE ROOTS closed 2013 with "Take You There" 
being nominated for the Reggaeville 2013 Album of the Year, 
with fans voting into January when the winner was to be 
announced at Reggaeville.com. It was a prestigious honor for 
TTR to be on the nominees' list that included some of the biggest 
names in reggae. "Take You There" which was released on July 
30th, debuted at #3 on The iTunes reggae charts right behind 
Bob Marley, and Snoop Dogg. "Take You There" also debuted at 
#5 on The Billboard Reggae Charts. 
 
THROUGH THE ROOTS' uplifting music includes a tantalizing 
blend of reggae, rock, and pop mixed with a vast array of ear 
pleasing guitar, drums and keyboard/synth play to mesh with the 
band's catchy vocals, creating its unique sounds. TTR excels in 
live performances, allowing its young and older fans to truly 
experience the total musical package as the pumping crowd is 
wrapped into a high-energy, free-flowing show that leaves fans 
with a positive reaction. 
 
In 2011, THROUGH THE ROOTS' first CD, "Here To Stay," 
quickly rose on the iTunes reggae Top 200 chart to No. 2 in the 
first week and remained amongst the best selling CDs as more 
and more TTR fans were turned on by the clever vibes and 
soothing mixture of the group's music. The popular CD also 
garnered air time on the West Coast and in Hawaii, adding to a 
six-song EP that THROUGH THE ROOTS put out in 2008, with 
both remaining in iTunes' top 50 selling reggae CDs for the year. 
 
THROUGH THE ROOTS topped 2011 by being named The

Tatanka
Tatanka

Homegrown in Denver Colorado, Tatanka is a three piece specializing in the sounds of dub, progressive reggae, and electro soundscapes. Heavy Caribbean drum and bass grooves provide the pulse for the party as the music invites you to get down and dirty. This trio of denver dub samurai’s just recently released they re first studio E.P. entitled Sounds in Technicolor. Sounds in Technicolor has reached over 4,000 downloads through Tatanka’s website and social networking sites. The release has been dubbed as drum and bass music for a new generation, a twist on new and old reggae riddim’s and an instant classic. The pulsing basslines provided by Tatanka’s Malonestar seem to rock the mind into trance while Champian’s guitar work and The Mexico’s hi-hat, snare and kick drum 4/4 playing styles pepper over the top of the album’s four track’s almost flawlessly.

Tatanka has shared the stage with many major national and international acts that include but are not limited to: Easy Star All-Stars, The Black Seeds, John Brown’s Body, The Expendables, Groundation, Pretty Lights, Passafire and more. The Tatanka trio continues to push they’re sound to the next level. Dub rock Syndicate recently gave the boys the title “the up and coming kings of dubtronic.” Tatanka has now been touring for over two years and will continue to do so. The Steppas
The SteppasOne good thing about music is when it hits you feel no pain, impressionable words chanted by inspirational reggae legend Bob Marley. Reggae music has fed generations of musicians, singers and songwriters. One such birth from this is a pacific island band known as The Steppas , the name serves as a reminder to step and move forward. Comprised of Rick Star(lead vocals/lead guitar) Na’ea Kaopua(vocals/percussion/keys) Kekolu Pavao(bass) Busy Legaspi(drums) and Makana Rosetti(keyboards) these five muscians have recreated the landscape of reggae music in Hawaii. The passion to play music with the message of peace and love through roots reggae music has never been more evident. The Steppas have self produced their album releases which include, The Steppas EP (august 2012) and The Love Shack EP (march 2013) this second EP entitled The Love Shack debuted at #2 on Itunes reggae charts also hot shot debut at #6 on reggae billboard charts. Fresh off their 2013 tour covering seven states and more than 30 U.S. cities they have teamed up along side Leslie Bimwala Ludiazo who’s credentials include producing the likes of The Green, Kimie, Jboog to create the much anticipated first full length album to be released in February 2014. Hailing from the musically vibrant town of Fort Collins Colorado, Offbeat Revolution blends a variety of Reggae, Ska, Jazz, and Rock to produce a truly unique sound. The Band was originally formed in 2007 in as a three piece comprised of Nick Pauly (Lead Vocals/ Guitar), Alex Goldberg (Bass) and Robbie Austin (Drums). In September of 2010, saxophonist Shannon Bolenbaugh joined the band solidifying the roots music sound. The band has played various shows throughout Colorado and has shared the stage with various reggae bands from the area as well as the national acts Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Pacific Dub, 40oz. to Freedom, Ballyhoo, and The Supervillians. With a growing fan base, the band continues to spread their music, with charged live performances and a new approach to Reggae music. With the recent release of their EP “All Around”, the band has a newfound sense of morale and is looking forward to the future
