Demrick
Demrick, formally known as Young De, is a Recording Artist / Songwriter currently residing in Los Angeles, California. He has a unique style of music, both raw and soulful. “The songs I write are about my life, friends, family and people I’ve met along the way, most of my inspiration comes from my everyday experiences.” He is best known for his collaborations with high profile artists such as Xzibit, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, B-Real and Cypress Hill. He is also recognized as a protege of B-Real & Xzibit.

The beginning of his career started in 2005 when he met Kurupt in Philadelphia. At the time he was in a group and Kurupt urged them to move to California. They took him up on the suggestion and in 2007 they released an album with Kurupt titled “Philly 2 Cali”.

In 2008 Young De released his solo debut mixtape titled “Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1”, it was presented by DJ Skee. B-Real contributed to the mixtape as a producer and featured on several tracks. Later that year Young De released the “Homeland Security” mixtape which was a collaboration project with Shady/Interscopes’ artist Ca$his. Homeland Security was hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and featured tracks with Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I and Freeway among others.

Young De was also featured on B-Real’s 2009 solo album “Smoke N Mirrors”, appearing on 5 of the 15 songs including the single Don’t Ya Dare Laugh. With that album B-Real and Young De spent a lot of time touring overseas. In the middle of 09’, Young De’s appearance on DJ Muggs “Souls Assassins Intermissions” albumlanded 2,000,000+ hits on YouTube for it’s 1st single Figure It Out. Due to the success of that song he has spent the past 2 years touring with Xzibit.

In 2010 Cypress Hill released their 8th studio album titled “Rise Up” on EMI’s Priority Records. Young De was featured on the street single It Ain’t Nothin . The video for this single received rotation on all television outlets and landed him on the Carson Daily Show. He also went on tour with Cypress, performing at festivals like Rock am Ring and Rockin Rio. At the end of the year Young De teamed up with DJ Fingaz, for yet another mixtape titled “De is for Demrick”.

In 2011 Xzibit and Young created a music catalog for the company Extreme Music/Sony ATV titled “Urban Ammo”. From that catalog they chose two digital singles; Man On The Moon & What It Is. These videos were shot by director Matt Alonzo and led to rotation on MTV.
In mid 2011, Young De released an EP titled “Neva Look Back” produced solely by Scoop DeVille. The EP had three singles What’s Good, Ready 2 Go & What’s Good Remix.

Young De just released his early 2012 mixtape “#Heads Up”. The 17 song project includes the singles Money & Weed & Burn Out (Produced By Jim Jonsin). After being noticed by South Florida’s Grammy winning producer Jim Jonsin in a studio session with Cypress Hill. The two have started working on music for his debut LP which has yet to be titled.
Iridium A.D.
Iridium A.D.
We are Iridium. After establishing our current lineup in late 2015, our sound has become a Colorado Springs metal standard. Boasting heavy guitar riffs, intricate solos, earth moving bass, complex, rhythmic drums, and melodic clean vocals paired with screams/growls, we have become so much more than we could've imagined. We have often been compared to bands such as Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, and Avenged Sevenfold! Our hopes for our future is that we can perform for audiences all across the country and eventually do well enough to make a living doing what we love. We are incredibly thankful for the amazing and supportive fan base we've built here in our hometown and we look forward to establishing that same connection with our fans all over the world. Send us a message or come hang out at a show, we're never too busy for our fans. Rock On. We are Iridium.
Against Himself
Against Himself
Formed in 2014 in Denver, Colorado, Against Himself fuse elements of rock and metal. Shortly after forming, they released a four-track self-titled EP, which exhibited their hard-hitting potential. Their celerity in recording their first EP exemplifies their focus on not over-complicating the equation by agonizing over obstacles. David Hunt, vocalist of Against Himself, explains, “If you want to achieve anything in life, the only true barrier to getting where you want to go is yourself. Just remove yourself from your own path and you won’t be working against yourself; you’ll likely achieve what you want to do. The only barriers that exist are the ones you allow to be there.” The band, never intimidated by the prospect of experimenting with their sound to continually create unique music, is true to their motto that “there is no failure, only a process of elimination, and trial and error.”

While not inherently a political band, Against Himself is not afraid to tackle political ideas and avoid the stereotypical rocknroll topics that ensure record sales but lack a message that would connect them with their audience. When describing the songwriting process, Hunt notes, “I like to talk about things that matter, things that most people avoid. Strippers and coke – they’re great, fuck yeah! But when you’re being robbed by your government and there’s shit going on that’s way bigger, sometimes there’s something that needs to be said. It’s hard to change the world, but the way we know how to do it is through music.”

The band’s eclectic influences – including Johnny Cash, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Stone Temple Pilots, Chris Cornell, Blink 182, Machine Head, Pantera, and Amos Lee, to name a few – can be heard on their full-length album The Awakening, slated for release early next year. Dalen Buckalew, guitarist for Against Himself, says of their sound, “When you listen to our songs, you can hear that each song has a different musical influence, which makes every single song sound completely different. But what makes it sound like Against Himself is David’s voice.”

The Awakening – produced by the legendary Logan Mader of Once Human and Machine Head, and recorded in Las Vegas, NV – features 11 tracks with themes encompassing “the awakening of us, of reality, of people, of the world.” Regarding the meaning of their debut album’s title, Hunt says, “There is a major awakening going on and there’s going to be a revolution, it’s just not going to happen the way people imagine it will. It’s going to be based around social media, with the youth being more educated, making bigger and better decisions than the generation before them.” For David as a lyricist, the driving force behind the album’s theme is the ability to share a connection with the band’s audience. He explains, “I’m always the one holding up the show when a new song comes out because I don’t want to write something just to write it; I want it to be real. If every song is real, I will feel it on stage. Our fans watching will get more enjoyment out of it and will feel it as well. The energy connection will be much stronger.”

MGI rainmaker and guru, Shawn Barusch, says of MGI’s collaboration with Against Himself, “I’m excited to be working with a band that knows what’s going on and has the music to back it up. Expect big things to come from this band.” Rest assured that Against Himself will not disappoint – they will be “a parasitic plague of music seeping through everybody’s veins.”

Victory Heights is more than a band; it is more than five dudes on stage playing music; it is more than CD's and shows; Victory Heights is a movement. Expect big things from these boys.
Description
It's not very often a group of five guys can sit elbow to elbow in a small van on the road for months at a time, and still come back home better friends than when they left. It is also unlikely that these same five guys can spend countless hours working, writing complex music, booking tours, promoting, even living together, and still want to spend time together at the end of the night. The music industry is unlike anything else. It is brutal, heart-crushing, and very difficult to succeed in. It takes a life-time of constant dedication to reach the top, and no matter how far you go, there is always someone standing right next to you, waiting for you make a mistake and take your place. But even though it may be hard, the music industry has its perks. If musicians work hard and hold onto constant motivation and perseverance, the rewards are amazing; A lifestyle unlike anything else, getting to experience things and see places very few people could even dream of; Meeting other musicians and fans that are inspired and motivated by you, some whom may say their life was saved by your music, though, the most incredible of all: that feeling you get, walking into the spotlight, in front of an ocean of people, all waiting to see a mere 30 minutes of what you've perfected to do best, what you have worked your entire life towards, what you are dedicated to and are most proud of. It is this exact feeling that keeps us all going, what keeps us working through thick and thin, and why the five of us won't stop, even when we reach the top. This is who we are, and where we have come thus far. We are Victory Heights.
