Heart & Soul Radio
You may remember the boys from such rock outfits known as Animo® and DORK®.
Since then the crew formed Heart & Soul Radio that many say is more powerful than He-Man, She-ra and Battlecat put together. These punk rock veterans pride themselves on their ability to mix lamebrained antics with hard-hitting awesomeness. Chances are, if you listen to their music you will drop a deuce or two in the process…yeah it hits that hard. Ya’ll ever heard of a power chord? Yeah, they rock ‘em like no one else! How ‘bout a little one, four, five, one, chord progression? You can’t handle the complexity! Face!!!
Here’s Some Things They’ve Done As Songwriters:
Played over 500 shows all over North America, including the entire Vans Warped Tour in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
They’ve had songs appear on MTV, FUSETV, and the movie American Pie Presents: Band Camp.
In January 2007 Jimmy had a drumhead inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the Vans Warped Tour display. We are also featured in the video that accompanies the display.
In December 2006 “Songwriting for Dummies” was selected as the best song by Clear Channel in a radio contest.
Jimmy and Brian “hung out backstage and showed off why the female fans went crazy for them during their breakout set. They’re one of a number of bands picking up a great deal of buzz on this Warped Tour” – Rolling Stone.com July 2008
